Our Studio
Located in Naples, Italy, our modern studio is home to a diverse team of developers, artists, and designers who collaborate to create the best possible gaming experience. Development Process
Creating ChickenCross involved numerous iterations and extensive playtesting. Our development process begins with concept sketches and paper prototypes, followed by digital mockups and playable prototypes. Each level undergoes rigorous testing by players of different ages and gaming experience to ensure it's both challenging and accessible.
Sound design plays a crucial role in bringing the game to life. Our audio team created over 200 unique sound effects and composed an adaptive soundtrack that changes dynamically based on gameplay intensity, enhancing the immersive experience without becoming repetitive.
Character design evolved significantly throughout development. Our original protagonist went through twelve different iterations before we settled on the current design, which playtesters found most appealing and relatable across different age groups and cultural backgrounds.

How do I create and share custom levels?
Premium and Family edition users have access to our intuitive level editor. To create a level, simply tap the "Create" button in the main menu and use the drag-and-drop interface to place obstacles, collectibles, and decorative elements. Once your level is complete, you can test it, make adjustments, and then publish it to share with friends or the wider community. All published levels are moderated to ensure appropriate content.
How often do you release new content?
We release major content updates quarterly, adding new levels, characters, and features. Between these major updates, we publish monthly mini-updates with seasonal events, bug fixes, and quality-of-life improvements. All updates are included free for premium users. Our development roadmap is publicly available on our website, and we regularly incorporate player feedback into our update plans.
Is an internet connection required to play?
ChickenCross can be played completely offline for the main story levels and previously downloaded custom levels. An internet connection is only required for downloading updates, sharing or accessing new community levels, participating in online events, and syncing progress across multiple devices. This makes the game perfect for travel, commutes, or anytime you're without reliable internet access.
